This guitar retains a high level of originality with its parts. The neck dates to 1973, the pots to 1974-75, and the pickups to 1974, making this a genuine 1975 model. Weighing 3.72kg, this lightweight alder body is a rarity for this period. Among the 70s Telecaster variants like TL Custom and TL Thinline, this is a rare model to find in the market. Recently, it’s gained attention thanks to Radiohead’s Thom Yorke. The pickups are Fender’s CuNiFe humbuckers, providing a clear sound distinct from Gibson’s pickups. With signs of wear and tear from years of use, including buckle marks and sticker residue on the body top, this guitar exudes a rich vintage character. Despite this, it sounds fantastic, with excellent playability. The CuNiFe pickups deliver a vintage, warm tone with a clear, edgy sound that sets it apart from Gibson Les Pauls and SGs. Most parts are original, except for a few replaced saddle height screws. The frets are about 60-70% remaining, and the neck shows no signs of warping or twisting. The truss rod is functional in both directions. The electronics are in good condition, with no issues like knob noise. The original hard case (with sticker residue) is included.
