Item Description -Creative Grids 8 1/2″ x 24 1/2″ Rectangle Sewing and Quilting Non-Slip Ruler-A versatile tool for quilters and sewists featuring easy-to-read black and white markings printed in 1-inch grids, with additional markings at 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch increments.-Cutting Precision: Use the black numbers (printed on white dots) and the 1/4-inch grip sides to cut whole inches. The 1/4-inch dashed lines printed on two adjoining sides aid in trimming seam allowances.-The ruler includes a Turn-A-Round feature. The numerical white numbers (printed on black dots) and the 1/2-inch grip sides allow you to add the 1/2-inch seam allowance.-It has both a white 45-degree angle for trimming half-square triangles in whole inch increments and a black 45-degree angle for half-inch increments. An additional black 45-degree line is placed so that two angles cross 1/4 inch away from the outside edge, which is useful for squaring up flying geese units, squares set on point, or marking cross-hatching.-White horizontal and vertical lines are printed on the rectangle, making the center of the ruler easily distinguishable. These lines are helpful for fussy cutting stripes and borders.-Non-Slip Grip: The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, the exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miscuts.-You can scan the QR Code printed on the ruler to view a tutorial demonstrating these features.-Made of plastic in the USA Measurements -Size: This ruler measures 8-1/2 inches wide and 24-1/2 inches long.
