Epoxy powder coated, high carbon steel (1095) blade with a [HRC 56-58] hardness rating. The full 9 5/16″ straight edge blade is flat ground sharpened to 20 / 20 degrees with buff polished edges. The top of the blade has been serrated sharpened. Overall length is 14 1/8″ The metal butt caps & carbon steel guards, are both powder coated. Made exclusively in Olean, New York and proudly stamped with the KA-BAR brand. Knife blade comes in a non-reflective all black finish and has a full straight edge flat ground blade for edge retention and easy sharpening. This model comes with a high quality brown leather KA-BAR embossed belt loop sheath, both stitched and riveted for extra strength and durability.
