Description: Thank you for considering this Mauser Mfg Co. Sterling Silver Tilting Tea Kettle Set With Base. This beautiful set is made up of three pieces: the tea kettle, the base, and the lighter. Each piece is marked «Mauser M.F.G. Co. New York Sterling Silver 1706″ on the bottom. The base is made with two sides extending from the bottom with a filigree design that catch the tea kettle and hold it at four points. There is a monogram at the back of the tea kettle. The lid of the tea kettle is connected with a hinge and opens to the side. The lighter fits into the center of the base and has three opening where rope is put through to keep a flame for heat. This set is an amazing piece of history as the company that made it, the Mauser Mfg Co., was only around from the 1890s to 1913. This historical piece will look amazing in any collection and will be the talking piece for years to come.
