Muela Parabellum Black Micarta (PARABELLUM-17N) Parabellum Black Micarta, Black, a large and durable knife aimed at military or survival enthusiasts. Perfectly balanced with a stainless steel blade provides tremendous cutting power. Ergonomically profiled handle. Will not fail in any situation! 1.4116, X50CrMoV15 — molybdenum-vanadium steel used for high-end knives, cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high hardness, as for stainless steels. Resistant to corrosion under kitchen conditions. It is a recommendable alternative to 1.4034 / X46Cr13 / 4H13 material. The chemical composition is enriched with Chromium content, Molybdenum and Vanadium addition. Blade — a long, massive Bowie type blade covered with a black protective coating. Despite the thickness, the concave grind provides excellent cutting properties combined with excellent durability. A guard on both sides prevents the hand from slipping on the blade while working. Finger choil, an undercut for the index finger provide precise control of the cutting direction. Handle — made of Canvas Micarta laminate, a virtually indestructible plastic that is insensitive to weather, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. Chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges for comfortable grip. The contoured handle provides good control of the knife. The steel head can serve as a hammer in emergency situations.Sheath — hand-stitched, made of natural leather in black with embossed manufacturer’s logo. Attaching to the belt or to the armor allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
