Omega De Ville Ref.166.033 Automatic Tool 106 Watch — Date Issue Please read before buying: This watch winds & runs well however the date complication is stuck. It doesn’t change via the quickset or when time passes so it will want looking at. About the watch & condition: Here we have a nice Omega De Ville circa 1960’s. It’s got an Automatic movement and when tested kept good time. When time tested it kept great time within 30 seconds over a 24 hour period. It does have some general wear though mainly to the hands as shown. More details below! The golden dial on the watch looks amazing on the wrist! The date complication needs work as mentioned but overall it’s a stunning looking watch. It does have a few marks including a scratch below the date & a mark just below and left on the centre. The watch still has its original Omega crystal and is in good condition as shown. There’s no cracks just a few light scratches which could be polished out easily enough. The case of this watch is gold plated and looks excellent for the most part. There is some general wear especially on the caseback with some pitting as shown. Luckily you won’t see this while wearing. General wear is to be expected of a pre owned vintage watch nearly 60 years old! The watch has its original omega branded crown which always looks nice. It’s winding & works barely the quickset date as mentioned. The watch is sat on a Tessuflex bracelet which will stretch to a 8 3/4 Inch wrist. It used to be gold plated however as shown it’s quite worn. You could easily swap this out for a nice leather to freshen it up. This is an automatic watch meaning it runs off the movement of your wrist. The watch has a small power reserve however if left for a period of time it will have likely stopped. This is just for the watch there’s no box or paperwork!
