Multiple Registries available, decal removal is needed to remove the old registries. Matched paints can be found below, and will be included in instructions! Please note: These decals are NOT for the XL Excelsior. MODEL NOT INCLUDED — DECALS ONLY These decals will let you change your standard USS Excelsior to any other number of ships. Decals include all registries with correct fonts, pinstripe and size. Deflector, Hull Panels, Nacelle markings and complete registries. The old markings on the model will need to be painted over first, Paints matched are listed below. Decal removal with nail varnish remover works excellently on the nacelles if needed, but is not advised for the saucer and engineering section as all paint will be removed. Paints matched to the Excelsior are: Ratio 4:1:1 72.046 Ghost Grey 4 70-904 Dark Blue Pale 1 70.989 SKY GREY 1 Optional: For the Deflector bay and lower Cargo Bay use: Vallejo 306 DARK RUBBER (This is also a great colour for Phaser Banks on other models!) The decals have been sealed with plasti-kote clear acrylic spray to protect them against scratches etc… The decals look great, are very sharp and really finish off the model making it look fantastic! You will receive the decals ready to apply, all you will need is a hobby knife to cut out the decals and a bowl of water to dip the decals in for 10 seconds before applying to the model. If you have access to Microsol and Microset or another decal adhesive you may get slightly better results, giving the decals a more painted on look. Giving the model a few coats of matt or gloss spray will also help adhere the decals to the model and protect both. FULL INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE INCLUDED.
