Functions Introduction and Usage Preparation 1 Working Modes Instruction UBT offers 2 types of working modes: USB mode, AUX mode. Turn on the car stereo, UBT/ UBT Lite blue LED indicator will light up and flash for 30 seconds, which means UBT/ UBT Lite starts to work. 3. Search UBT/ UBT Lite on your mobile phone via Bluetooth. 4. Connect with UBT/ UBT Lite, if pairing code is asked, please enter”0000”.Smart phones usually do not need to enter any pairing code. 5. After successful paring, some mobile phones may need setting UBT/ UBT Lite as a default Bluetooth connection. This depends on mobile phone’s setting. Non-initial Connection If UBT/ UBT Lite has already been paired by mobile phones before, when the car stereo turns on UBT/ UBT Lite will automatically try to connect the last-connected mobile phone. Please make sure mobile phone’s Bluetooth is turned on. 1. If UBT/ UBT Lite is not able to automatically connect to mobile phone when car stereo turns on, UBT/ UBT Lite will automatically enter into pairing status. 2. If UBT/ UBT Lite is not connected to mobile phone, Also user can operate on mobile phone menu to connect mobile phone with UBT/ UBT Lite .If many times of connections are failed, users may need to pair again. Match a new bluetooth device If UBT/ UBT Lite has already been paired by mobile phones before and users need to connect to other new mobile phones, following are several ways: 1. In order to match different mobile devices to UBT/ UBT Lite, the Bluetooth function of the first phone must be turned off, then UBT/ UBT Lite will automatically enter pairing status. 2. Refer to instruction of Initial connection to match the new mobile phones. Streaming Phone Music into Car Stereo Track Information Display UBT/ UBT Lite can not support display playlists or song information. Only a virtual track number can be displayed, and the playback time of the track is also virtual and inaccurate. Manual Playback 1. Switch to USB playback or AUX mode on car stereo. 2. Open music App on mobile phone and play, the music will automatically come out from car stereo system. Smart Playback When the music App of mobile is paused 1. Press CD source button to switch to USB playback status, the music App of mobile will automatically start to play. 2.Turn off car stereo or switch to FM/AM/CD and other non-USB mode, the music App of mobile will automatically be paused. Playback Operation When mobile phone is under status of music playback, UBT/ UBT Lite is able to control music playback using original steering wheel or head unit control panel. To end a call during conversation, press radio next track button 【>|】. Important Note: under AUX mode, handsfree is also effective, but cannot answer and end calls through the head unit panel. AUX Output Introduction UBT support two output modes. some car stereo cannot support USB output, or their compatibility is poor, resulting in jamming and delay.
