The bloom is very unique and showy, and they are very interesting and rewarding to grow and attract a wide variety of night time pollinators, including Luna Moths. They generally flower in cycles lasting a few weeks several times each year. The flowers are with large trumpet shaped blooms that hang upside down and are highly fragrant at night and lend a very romantic, elegant look and feel to any garden. The fragrance peaks at night, so near the pool, patio, porch, or any other area where you spend time outdoors in the evening is a good placement. Versicolor is an old hybrid cross that is a large, upright, open growing bush bearing large peach colored trumpets with white throats that hang at about a 15º to 30º angle The flowers begin as a pale pastel yellow that changes to white, then pale peach pink, and finishes a darker shade of peach to pink.
