Wanted: Dead or Alive — The Complete Series has all 94 episodes featured on 11 DVDs, for hours of entertainment for fans new and old! «Wanted: Dead or Alive — The Complete Series» is an 11-disc set TV western drama of the late 1950s. Viewers follow a friendly bounty hunter named Josh Randall as he journeys on many action-packed adventures armed with a sawed-off rifle. The series takes place in the Wild West of the 1870s. This 11-disc set of «Wanted: Dead or Alive — The Complete Series» includes 94 episodes for a total run time of approximately 40 Hours!!. Though many re-releases of older movies and shows are modernized through the addition of color, this old favorite western has been left in restored and high-quality black and white. The cast of «Wanted: Dead or Alive — The Complete Series» is filled by Steve McQueen as Josh Randall, who stars beside Michael Landon and James Coburn. Originally produced by Four Star Productions, the unrated television series was written by Samuel A. Peeples and Charles Beaumont. Mill Creek Entertainment released this restored box set in NTSC full screen format for Region 1 (U.S and Canada). Josh Randall (McQueen) was not a typical rough-hewn bounty hunter of the Old West; he was a consummate gentleman who many times gave away half — or even all — of his reward money to charity. He was a man of few words and he carried a Winchester sawed-off shotgun, which he wore on his belt and fondly called his «Mare’s Leg». Originally aired on CBS from 1958 — 1961, Wanted: Dead or Alive was the TV series that launched Steve McQueen back into the film industry in the western classic The Magnificent Seven. All 94 episodes of the series are presented here in this 11 DVD set. Season One (36 episodes) The first season featured a stellar line up of stars from film and television including MICHAEL LANDON (Bonanza), WARREN OATES (The Wild Bunch), JAMES COBURN (The Dirty Dozen), STEVE BRODIE (Winchester ’73), DeFOREST KELLY (Star Trek), KENNETH TOBEY (The Thing), and CLU GULAGER (The Killers).
